è un giorno dedicato totalmente a noi quindi con un sorriso accettiamo il fiore
che un uomo raramente gentile ci porge , perché ce lo meritiamo: si anche tu te
lo meriti ! Tu , mamma , figlia , amica , sorella , zia , nonna , collega
antipatica , vicina permalosa ; anche tu oggi meriti questo fiore e sarò
proprio io a dartelo se nessuno ci avrà pensato ancora . Io che sono donna
proprio come te e che come te conosco il dolore e le gioie di essere tale sopratutto OGGI .

amiche mie ricordiamoci anche che le origini
di questa festa non sono felici come qualcuno crede.
Questa festa si associa al 1908 quando un gruppo di operaie
dell’industria tessile Cotton di New York scioperarono per protestare contro le
condizioni in cui lavoravano.; e dopo alcuni giorni di conflitto con le
maestranze, l’8 marzo il proprietario, per ritorsione, bloccò tutte le porte di
uscita dello stabilimento. Quel giorno scoppiò un incendio che uccise 129 di
loro. Successivamente questa data fu proposta da Rosa Luxemburg come giornata
di lotta internazionale a favore delle donne.
Da allora le conquiste sociali, politiche ed economiche delle
donne sono davvero tante , ma ricordiamoci anche delle mille discriminazioni e delle
violenze che ci riguardano in ancora tantissime parti del mondo.
